Jeff grew up in Rockville, Indiana, home of the Covered Bridge Festival. He was raised on a small farm along with six siblings and graduated from Rockville High School in 1976. From an early age, Jeff had always had a desire to serve the Lord, but it wasn’t until 1988 when he felt the call to ministry. He spent his first two years at what is now Southern Wesleyan University in Central, South Carolina, after which time he transferred to Indiana Wesleyan University at Marion, Indiana where he graduated in 1993. Jeff has served in churches in Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Kentucky, with his last pastorate being in Stroh, Indiana, where he served from 2012 to 2021. Jeff and Brenda are both ordained ministers as well as well as school bus drivers for Brooke County Schools. Their family includes 3 sons and 5 grandchildren.

We believe God has blessed us with a great opportunity to serve the New Cumberland Nazarene Church. We also believe there is a great need to reach people for Jesus Christ in our community and we are excited to see what God has in store for the church here. We know that God will do great things through all of us as we respond to the Spirit’s leading and we look forward to serving alongside all of you as we follow Him together.
